The OpenSSL Corporation is the general partner of the reconstructed Beringia enclosure at the Zoo Brno for polar bears.

As new members of the Brno community, we are pleased to announce a meaningful partnership with ZOO Brno, supporting the reconstruction of the Beringia enclosure – the future home of polar bears. Our donation will contribute to creating a safe and modern environment for the exhibit’s iconic resident Cora, along with two newly arrived female polar bears, Anna and Elsa.

On July 27 2025, ZOO Brno will host “Welcome, She-Bears!” — celebrating the grand reopening of the reconstructed Beringia enclosure. This newly reconstructed enclosure will be home to Cora, a legendary resident of ZOO Brno, alongside two newly arrived female polar bears Anna and Elsa. Together, they will thrive in an environment thoughtfully designed for their comfort, well-being, and safety.
