Technical Advisory Committees Election Results

The OpenSSL Corporation and the OpenSSL Foundation certify the results of the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) elections. After a thorough nomination and voting process, the OpenSSL community has selected a group of distinguished individuals to provide guidance and advice to the OpenSSL Library.

Newly Elected Members

The following candidates have been elected to serve on the Technical Advisory Committees:

The OpenSSL Corporation TAC Members

The OpenSSL Foundation TAC Members

The Role of TACs

The Technical Advisory Committees provide advice on technical issues, challenges, and technical guidance to the OpenSSL Corporation and the OpenSSL Foundation. Consisting of representatives from the OpenSSL Communities – Academics, Committers, Distributions, Individuals, Large companies, and Small companies – TAC members represent the interests and perspectives of their respective communities. TACs play an important role in answering the “how” of technical decision-making: how features should be implemented, how technical priorities are set, and how to maintain quality and security across the project. This all ensures that decisions made reflect the diverse stakeholders involved in the library.

A Word of Appreciation

We thank everyone who participated in this election. Your nominations, votes, and discussions reflect a highly engaged community committed to transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Looking Ahead

The newly elected TAC members will begin their one year terms immediately. They will work closely with the Business Advisory Committees (BACs), the Board of Directors of the OpenSSL Corporation and the OpenSSL Foundation, and the community to shape the OpenSSL Project’s future.
